About Me

     Hey everyone. My name is Alex Pratt and I want to let you all know a little bit more about me, and the different ministry opportunities that I am involved in.

     I am currently a missionary in Ukraine with my parents, Mike and Michelle Pratt. I have lived here for 14 years and Ukraine, and the Ukrainian people, have a large place in my heart.

     Right now I am still in Ukraine and I am actively involved in the ministry here. I lead an English club which has opened many doors for relationships to be developed with the people here.

     I try to remain as involved in outreaches as possible. One of the ways that I am involved in our evangelism outreaches is called poi. For those of you who don't know what that is, you can click on the link here to see a video of me and my friend spinning poi. Poi is a very popular pastime in L'viv and really helps to draw people in and then feed them the Word of God.

     Teaching the Bible is another thing that I do from time to time for the church. I keep myself available to fill in for my pastor at our Saturday night Bible studies, and I currently lead our church youth group.

      I am also involved in our church's worship team as a drummer. I am trying to train up another drummer. At the moment, I am the only one in our church who can play, and when I leave, we will need someone to take my place on the team.

     This brings me to the next phase of my life...college! I will be studying at Calvary Chapel Bible College Europe, which is located in Vajta, Hungary. I will be studying there for three years to receive a bachelor's degree in theology.

     My vision and my goals for Bible College are mainly focused toward teaching the the Word of God. It is my desire that, Lord-willing, one day I will be a pastor, hopefully one serving in the mission field. So, I will go to the Bible college to train and to grow spiritually in my knowledge and into a closer relationship with our God.
